Service Description

We will largely be using acrylic paints and a Gel Press aka Gelli Plate to print from. This is such a versatile way of printing. There are lots of techniques to learn, so we will be looking at: Creating simple silohettes Layering silohettes White silohettles Creating ghost prints (more detailed prints) Layering prints Layering colours Using several colours A little mixed media print with watercolours. Image transfer from magazines, maps and old music books. We will use a range of papers to print, possibly create our own mask and we will create many lush and interesting prints. Using the prints for cards, book marks, wrapping paper, artwork etc. We can also look at mounting one of your images to hang with pride as a finale piece. 6 places available. 4 as a minimum. The next course will start on Friday 13th September 2024 Friday 20th September (Please note that we skip the session on Friday 27th September) Friday 4th October Friday 11th October
