ROCK N WOOL CREATIONS

Let me introduce myself. I am Caroline and I just love being creative!  In fact I would go so far to say that I am addicted.  Hosting creative workshops and short courses is now my full time job and it is an absolute privilege.  Prior to this, I gained my teaching degree and was an Early Years Teacher for 12 years.

Who are the workshops for?

My exciting range of creative workshops are in the main aimed at adults and teenagers.  The majority of workshops and courses are aimed at beginners, and for those wanting to develop their creative skills and techniques.

How does it works?

Each week I advertise a couple of workshops and anyone is welcome.  You can come alone, with a friend, colleague or with family members.  Beginners are absolutely welcome as are seasoned crafters and you don't need to be particularly creative.    Most of the workshops are  hosted in the beautiful bustling village of Wheathampstead and last for 2.5 hours. I also host sessions at Southern Maltings in Ware and Fashion n Fabrics in St Albans on a regular basis.   Workshops vary in price as some resources are more expensive than others.  Prices start from £30 per person.  There is a minimum deposit of £10  per person which secures your place on the workshop and the balance is then payable on the day. I have a card reader, cash or transfer is all good. All resources, tuition and light refreshments are included (with the Lampshade Making with your own fabric as the exception).  During the week we might enjoy a sweet treat tea/coffee, and a glass of fizz during an evening workshop.

Short Courses:

My range of short courses are also suitable for beginners but take us obviously much more in depth that the one off workshops.  Some run for 4 or 6 weeks, others are more intensely run over a couple of full days.  You get to learn new skills and techniques, practice these in creative ways, gaining confidence as well as creating some fabulous things along the way.

The workshops and the courses are an experience.  A chance to learn a new skill or introduce you to a new craft.   A chance to socialize with like minded people, and I encourage learning from each others creations and sharing ideas.  I  offer a friendly place to gather, connect and create and very much look forward to meeting you.

Where will it be held:

Most of the workshops and courses are hosted from my home studio in Wheathampstead.  I am proud to announce that I also host regular workshops and courses from Southern Maltings in Ware and in the Workshop Space within Fashion n Fabrics, Beech Road in St Albans. Or indeed from your home or work space.

Private group bookings are also available.
