ROCK N WOOL CREATIONS

Let me introduce myself. I am Caroline and I just love, love, love being creative!  In fact I would go so far to say that I am addicted.  Even on my days off I am looking for an opportunity to create and I often dream about it too. Hosting creative workshops and short courses is now my full time job and it is an absolute privilege.  Prior to this, I gained my teaching degree and was an Early Years Teacher for 12 years.  Most of my inspiration for the workshops and course are drawn from nature.

What are the options?

I advertise one off workshops and short courses on my "schedule" page and these are open for anyone to book on. All of these, with the exception of the Lampshare Making Workshop are all inclusive. In that the price includes tuition, light refreshments and all the resources needed. No experience necessary.  Come alone or with a friend. Prices start from £35.

Weekly Ongoing Craft Groups.  I currently have three ongoing groups and we meet for two hours each week, term time only.  These run on  Monday morning, Wednesday morning and Wednesday afternoon. They are a tonne of fun, sociable and we cover a whole host of crafts. Please get in touch for further information or if you would like to join us.

Then I offer Private Group Sessions.  These may be for a  friendship group, for a celebration, family group or for a workplace or group such as the WI, Brownies or the like. Please get in touch so we can discuss your groups ability and preferences.

Who are the workshops for?

My exciting range of creative workshops are in the main aimed for adults and occasionally teenagers because most of my session are term time only, largely during the daytime and occasionally in the evening. The majority of workshops and courses are aimed at beginners, and for those wanting to develop their creative skills and techniques.

My creative workshops, groups and the courses are an experience.  A chance to learn a new skill or introduce you to a new craft or for the courses, a chance to delve deeper and learn and practice a wider range of skills and techniques. A chance to socialize with like minded people, and I encourage learning from each others creations and sharing ideas.  I  offer a friendly place to gather, connect and create and very much look forward to meeting you.

Where?:

The majority of the workshops and courses are hosted at my home studio in Wheathampstead. The post code is AL4 8QD and its in the cul de sac.  There's plenty of parking on Wick Avenue.

Occasionally, I host workshops at Southern Maltings in Ware or  the Workshop Space within Fashion n Fabrics, St Albans. Or indeed from your home or work space.
