Would you like to know how to design and create your very own unique solid silver jewellery? Pendants, earrings and or charms. Then let me show you how. This really is a magical experience! The whole process is just amazing and what's more, the silver is recycled from scrap silver and from x-rays etc. During the session you will plan and try out your own design using a range of resources and tools before using the silver metal clay. There will be a range of natural objects such as shells and leaves, texture mats, shape cutters etc but if you feel you want to bring something along to incorporate into your design, please do (like a small shell, fossil or junk jewellery with an interesting shape or design). Included in the session is your 7g of silver clay, tuition of course, a pair of sterling silver earring blanks and a sterling silver chain as well as light refreshments to keep you going whilst you work. 7g of silver clay can make a pendant and a pair of earrings to give you some ideas of what can be expected but it does depend on your design and preference for smaller or larger jewellery. There is an option to purchase more silver clay on the day. You will go home proudly wearing your silver jewellery or it will be ready the following day depending on what time allows. Given that we can use the barrel polisher to give your creations an extra bit of sparkle, giving your creations a really professional finish. The pendant, charm or earrings you create will be solid silver (99.9%) and could technically be hallmarked. However, it is expensive to do so and it doesn't have to be done unless your piece weighs over 7.78g We'll discuss this in the session
