We will be using acrylic paints and a Gel Press aka Gelli Plate to print from. This is such a versatile way of printing and is great fun. There are lots of techniques to learn, such as: Creating simple silohettes Layering silohettes White silohettles Creating ghost prints (more detailed prints) Layering prints Layering colours Using several colours Mixed media with Watercolour Image transfer from magazines, maps and old music books Paining through the Gelli Plate Creating different effects and patterns. Using and creating masks. Printing onto fabric. Printing with flowers and leaves. And exploring what we can do with all of your prints. We will use a range of papers to print, possibly create our own mask and we will create many lush and interesting prints. Using the prints for cards, book marks, wrapping paper, artwork etc. 6 places available. 4 as a minimum. Fabulous fun and very addictive.
