Come along and make your very own professional lampshade. In this workshop you will learn how to make a stunning lampshade with your own fabric. There are size options to choose from and wheather you would like to make a single sided or double sided shade. A 20cm drum shade is ideal for a table lamp or a small single bedroom for example as a ceiling pendant light for a small room. A 30cm drum is ideal for most table lamps or as a ceiling pendant light. A 40cm drum shade is ideal for either a standard lamp, a ceiling pendant for a large room or for a large table lamp. All you need to do is choose and bring along your own fabric. You cold recycle some curtains for example or go fabric shopping. We can iron it and cut it to size on the day. Below is a list of the size of fabric that you will need for each shade: 20cm shade = 30" wide x 12" depth (76cm x 30cm) 30cm shade = 42" wide x 15" depth (107cm x 38cm) 40cm shade = 55" wide x 15" depth (140cm x 38cm) Options & Prices: 20cm single sided shade (normal white lining to the inside) £40 30cm single sided shade is £45 40cm single sided shade (normal white lining to the inside) £48 40cm double sided shade (fabric to the outside and inside with a metallic silver or copper lining to the inside) £50 If the dates shown do not work for you then please get in touch and I'll see what I can do. I host this workshop from my home studio in Wheathampstead and in the workshop space at Fashion n Fabrics, Beech Road, St Albans We can enjoy tea/coffee/sweet treat for daytime workshops & a glass or two of fizz for the evening events.
