In this workshop you will learn how to create a stunning professional lampshade with your own fabric. There are size options to choose from and a choice of a white interior or metallic copper. A 20cm drum shade is ideal for a table lamp or a small single bedroom for example as a ceiling pendant light for a small room. A 30cm drum is ideal for most table lamps or as a ceiling pendant light. A 40cm drum shade is ideal for either a standard lamp, a ceiling pendant for a large room or for a large table lamp. All you need to do is choose and bring along your own fabric. You could recycle some curtains for example or go fabric shopping. A medium weight printed cotton, calico or velvet works very well. You could also use a light weight printed cotton. Just nothing with a stretch to it. Silk is extremely tricky and upholstery fabric is too thick. We can iron it and cut it to size on the day.
