Service Description

This is a really easy and versatile way of printing and I love it. We find or create and image and trace that onto the printing plate. (By the way, believe it or not the printing plate is a juice/milk carton) and then we set about creating lines, patterns, and texture with an etching needle. We can also remove areas with a craft knife. After inking up and wiping down we can then print onto damp papers . I just love the look. Like it's been sketched with a pencil. You can buy other colours but during this session we will be sticking with the Lamp Black Ink. You can use these for a collection of cards or prints for framing. It can be a little messy, old clothes or an apron are advised. We can enjoy tea/coffee/sweet treat for daytime workshops & a glass or two of fizz for the evening session.
