Service Description

We will be using acrylic paints and a Gel Press aka Gelli Plate to print from. This is such a versitle way of printing. There are lots of tequniques to learn, so we will be looking at: Creating simple silohettes Layering silohettes White silohettles Creating ghost prints (more detailed prints) Layering prints Layering colours Using several colours Image transfer from magazines, maps and old music books. We will use a range of papers to print, possibly create our own mask and we will create many lush and interesting prints. Using the prints for cards, book marks, wrapping paper, artwork etc. We can also look at mounting one of your images to hang with pride as a finale piece. 7 places available. 4 as a minimum. This course will next run on Friday 19th April 2024 until and including Friday 10th May. 10am until 12.30 each week.
