Come and create some stunning Shabori Indigo Printed fabrics. Included in the session, you get a cotton tote bag and a cotton table runner. If you'd like to bring along a cushion cover, or cotton pillow cases or a cotton t shirt (not all of the above) we should hopefully have time to do those too. Ideally they'd be white cotton and prewashed with washing detergent but not fabric conditioner. Shibori is a Japanese term referring to a variety of resist-dyeing techniques used on fabric to create a range of patterns. I'll show the techniques needed in order to achieve a range of patterns. I just love the indigo colour, it's my absolute favourite and looks fabulous and fresh in the summer yet still warm in winter. A collection of the patterns look incredible together as does just a striking individual piece. Light refreshments, a tote bag and table runner are included. It can be a smidge messy so I'll have aprons and gloves. Best not to wear your favourite outfit. X
